- NAVHDA registration is required of ALL dogs running a NAVHDA test. The NAVHDA registration number is required on the entry form.
- Both the owner AND the handler must be members of NAVHDA International.
- The Test Entry form can be found on the International NAVHDA website. Complete the form, print, and mail with the check for entry fee to the test secretary.
- Entry into a Central States NAVHDA, Inc test is not secured until the Test Secretary has received the entry form and payment. The owner and handler will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of the entry form.
- An entry may be withdrawn at any time but the entry fee refund will only be issued if the the spot is filled.
- Central States NAVHDA, Inc will only carry over test entry fees to the next available test for CSN Chapter members in good standing at the time of the request.
- An entry may be withdrawn if a dog has a disabling injury or illness, and the refund will be issued on receipt documentation of a veterinarian.
- An owner may substitute a dog of the same testing level for UT or UPT or substitute ONE or TWO NA dogs for a UT/UPT dog already entered in the test. If a substitution occurs the dog owner is required to submit a corrected test entry form with the new information.
- Any entry received after the test has been filled, will be placed on a waiting list and the owner/handler will receive notification. If the owner does not want to be placed on the waiting list they can request to have their entry fee refunded or returned to the owner at that time.

Dogs are eligible for the Natural Ability Test up until, and including, the day they reach sixteen months of age.
Lunch for handlers and observers will be available for a minimal fee.
Both the owner(s)/handler are required to be a member of NAVHDA International in order to test a dog.
